Our Mission "Create quality open courseware targeted at performance in order to deliver the highest caliber classes." Why n + 1 Training? Since its inception, n + 1 has provided solutions and support for Open Source platforms. It was a natural progression for n + 1 to provide training for these skill sets. When teaching these classes, n + 1 discovered the lack of quality courseware for Linux, Java and other technologies. After struggling with courseware that was inadequate for the desired topics, n + 1 decided to enter into the market of courseware development. The primary goal for n + 1 is the creation of high quality courseware targeted at end-user performance and not certification. The idea is to create courses that increase the student's productivity in their daily jobs rather than waste time on arcane information necessary only to pass a test. In the spirit of Open Source, n + 1 has decided to Open Source the courseware and make it freely available. n + 1's hope is to grow a a community where trainers can work together to create courseware that is second-to-none.
